GIVI Luggage Explained
GIVI are one of the market leaders in motorcycle luggage and offer an extensive range of hard and soft cases as well as accessories. Here we explain the difference between the various Givi Cases:
GIVI MONOKEY – heavy duty construction and elegant style offering the versatility and functionality that makes it suitable for top boxes and side cases. Monokey boxes are generally speaking for the bigger Motorcycle range.
GIVI MONOLOCK – lighter in construction but not compromising their efficiency and durability. Monolock boxes are used as top boxes only and most suitable for the smaller motorcycle and scooter ranges. The Monolock case comes complete with a universal mounting plate which enables it to be mounted to many stock or aftermarket flat or tubular luggage racks.
GIVI MONOKEY SIDE – these cases are designed solely for use as side cases and offer an excellent integrated storage solution and can be used on many motorbike models in conjunction with GIVI top boxes.
GIVI SOFT LUGGAGE – a wide range of bags designed to offer more choice for every motorcycle and an excellent alternative for motorcycles and scooters which, for whatever reason, are not compatible with the GIVI Monokey and Monolock system.
GIVI ACCESSORIES – a comprehensive range designed to create more versatility and functionality to the Monokey and Monolock case system. The extensive range includes back rests, brake light kits, innerbags /liners and carry nets to mention but a few.
GIVI MOUNTING HARDWARE – an extensive range of fitting kits designed to allow the mounting of the Monokey and Monolock cases onto the different makes and models of motorcycles.

THE CORRECT GIVI FITTING KIT FOR YOUR MOTORCYCLE
In order to fit GIVI top boxes or panniers (side cases) to your motorcycle/scooter, GIVI offers various fitting possibilities, depending on the make and model of your motorcycle you own. As every bike model differs Givi is producing a wide variety of fitting kits in order to fit the Givi box of your choice onto your bike. It can be confusing to know/chose which fitting kit you require for your particular motorbike, that's why we at Motorcycle Planet have come up with a 'user-friendly' way to establish what you need for your motorbike:
